Planned for Progress

Reserve Bank of Australia, 65 Martin Place, Sydney, 2010. Designed by Freeman Ryan Design.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Reserve Bank of Australia, the exhibition Planned for Progress aligned the institution’s innovative spirit with the choice of Modernism for the architecture of its new head office, as well as its sculptures, decorative arts and corporate emblem. A dramatic panorama of archival photographs was reproduced across the building’s façade for the anniversary.

Changing exhibitions continued to be curated for the Bank’s Museum, including an interactive touchscreen that introduced the Next Generation of Banknotes, 2016–2020.
